Spineless yucca
Yucca elephantipes (syn. Yucca gigantea) · Asparagaceae
A branching, cane-forming yucca with rosettes of long, strap-like leaves. This specimen appears established outdoors in a bright, dry setting.

- Bright light to full sun; acclimate gradually to intense sun.
- Watering
- Water deeply about every 2–4 weeks during active growth, less often in cool or rainy weather. Check several inches below the surface; water only when the soil is mostly dry, then let excess drain fully.

- Very well-draining, gritty soil; avoid heavy, water-retentive ground.
- Humidity
- Average household or outdoor humidity is suitable; no misting needed.
- Temperature
- Warm conditions preferred; protect from prolonged frost and freezing temperatures.
