Zebra wart haworthia

A clustering succulent with narrow, pointed leaves stacked into upright columns. Its raised white tubercles form pronounced bands. The reddish-brown coloring appears to be sun-stress pigmentation; shaded growth is typically greener.
Plant care
- Light
- Bright indirect light or gentle morning sun. Acclimate gradually and protect from intense midday or afternoon sun, which can deepen stress coloring and scorch tips.
- Watering
- Approximately every 2–4 weeks during active growth and less often in cool or dormant periods; adjust for heat, pot size, and airflow. Wait until the mix is dry throughout the pot. Check through the drainage hole or insert a wooden skewer deeply; water thoroughly only when it comes out dry, then let excess drain completely.
- Soil
- Use a very fast-draining succulent mix with substantial pumice, perlite, or coarse mineral grit. The current surface looks dense and compacted, so consider repotting.
- Humidity
- Normal household humidity; good airflow is more important than added humidity.
- Temperature
- About 10–30°C (50–86°F); protect from frost and prolonged extreme heat.
- Toxicity
- Generally regarded as non-toxic to cats and dogs, though chewing may still cause mild digestive upset.
